Following the announcements and introductions, we are excited to inform you that Mr. Mark Olsen of MacKiev Software will share information about the most popular genealogy software on the market: Family Tree Maker. He will provide an introduction for members who are not familiar with the software to show the basics. He will also provide a glimpse of the some of the more advanced aspects of the software for those who are not familiar with the latest version. Family Tree Maker is robust software that has now been on the market and improving every year for over thirty years. It operates on both Windows and Macintosh, desktops and laptops. It is amazing what it can do to help you keep track of your genealogical information, yet be so easy to use. You will want to see Mark's presentation.
Mark Olsen is the Family Tree Maker Ambassador to historical and
genealogical societies around the world working to support their
members as they use Family Tree Maker. Mark is a graduate of
Brigham Young University and holds a bachelor's degree in
Family History with a Spanish records emphasis. He has been
working in the genealogy industry since 2007.
