DACGS Zoom Program for Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 2:00 pm MDT
DACGS September Society Meeting
David Heiner, Director of the Las Cruces Family History Center, will talk about the value of Indexing Records.
FamilySearch Indexing is an ongoing volunteer transcription project that makes valuable genealogical records searchable online.
Hundreds of thousands of volunteer indexers have participated from around the world. Since FamilySearch Indexing began in 2006, more than one billion searchable records have been produced. Learn how to access these records and how to be an active part of this volunteer effort.
Due to Coronavirus concerns, presentations will be held online via Zoom. DACGS members will receive an invitation and instructions for joining the meeting via email.
For Non-DACGS members: We invite you to join our meeting by sending an email request, including your telephone number, to: email@example.com requesting instructions to attend the meeting. The request, with phone number, must be received two (2) days prior to the meeting.
